2024 Tour de Skate

Itinerary

Sat 6th January

Morning - Salamanca Markets (off-skates). 

Skate #1 - Afternoon trail skate 30kms approx. (inc the brand new Montrose Bay Skate Park as a stopover) and pub/restaurant in the evening. 

Sun 7th January

Skate #2 – Brunch, followed by a visit to Tolosa Park to skate the criterium track and skate park. The criterium (800m competition) track has a few little hills and hardly any traffic. Water taps on site means we could put water on the track to practice slides! The skate park is mostly shallow banks making it great for big wheel set ups.  

Skate #3 - Evening Hobart City Explorer on wheels (approx 10kms).  Skate from Salamanca into Hobart via the new Bridge of Remembrance. Cruise the streets and check out a few car parks along the way. Drop in to Salamanca Brickworks for some beers on skates.
